Real Heroes 2012 (moving on to this year now) won a Telly Award in the Social Responsibility Category!!! Thanks to Darice Aubuchon, the American Red Cross of CMass and all the local heroes for another amazing year!

Victory at the Emmys!

"Real Heroes 2011" - Last year's documentary that is part of an annual project produced by Slide Rule Pictures in conjunction with the American Red Cross of Central Massachusetts and Charter TV3 won a 2012 Boston/New England Emmy in the "Program - Societal Concerns" Category! The program honors three teams and three individuals from Central Massachusetts who have done extraordinary, heroic work throughout their communities and beyond. I had three other nominations for other projects that fell short of the prize, but it was an honor to be recognized and it was a very exciting night! -Ryan

Nominated for Four Boston/New England Emmy Awards!

Slide Rule Pictures received four Boston/New England Emmy Award Nods this year in the editing, photography and documentary (societal concerns) categories! Winners will be announced on June 2nd.

Real Heroes 2012:John McAuliffe

"We've Gone Back to Enjoying Life" - John McAuliffe was honored at the 2012 American Red Cross Heroes Breakfast for saving a choking woman using the Heimlich Maneuver.

Real Heroes 2012: Heather Busick

Heather was honored at the 2012 Red Cross Heroes Breakfast for founding and running "Kelley Backpacks" which provides backpacks filled with toys and supplies to children transitioning into state custody.
